WOHL LEGACY LEADERSHIP FELLOWS

The UK Jewish community is navigating a pivotal moment. Rising complexity, rapid social change, security concerns, and polarised discourse will require leaders who are confident, skilled, and grounded in Jewish values and guide our organisations with clarity and courage.

The WOHL LEGACY LEADERSHIP FELLOWS is about investing in this next generation of leaders. With awards of up to £10,000. Fellows are invited to step beyond familiar communal frameworks and into world-class executive education in broader, multicultural, even global settings or through a secondment, here in the UK or abroad. Immersed in diverse cohorts and exposed to cutting-edge thinking, Fellows will return with fresh ideas, strategic insight, and broadened perspective to strengthen communal organisations and the wider UK Jewish community.

The Wohl Legacy – honouring the example of Maurice and Vivienne Wohl – supports leaders who learn widely and lead wisely. These awards are given in recognition of an individual’s commitment, potential, and readiness to grow. Inviting those already contributing to communal life and those wishing to step up and then bring the best of the world back home to strengthen the UK community.

Fellows are encouraged to share their journey, within their organisations and publicly, so that others see what high-quality leadership education and development can deliver. In doing so, they amplify a simple message: strong Jewish leadership matters now.

How to apply

At the heart of Judaism are three beliefs about leadership: We are free. We are responsible. And together we can change the world
